"I got up and left the room, clicked the elevator button and waited. He was wearing only boxers and believes he was headed to the lobby—perhaps to gamble? Luckily, his dad got there before he could get any further.

Sleepwalking Reddit user, Irrespressible87, was sitting cross-legged on his bed, holding up his hands as if he were fanning out a hand of cards when his dad walked in. "He greeted me, then realized the room was dark and my eyes were closed," he recalls. "I 'looked' up at him, and declared that 'every time I play this [bleeping] game, I get my [bleep] kicked." Irrepressible87 then promptly slumped out of his bed and onto the floor.

In another hotel-sleepwalking story, Reddit contributor, TheNillaGorillawas also a preteen when he had his most bizarre sleepwalking experience. At age 11, while his family was vacationing at a hotel in Hawaii, TheNillaGorilla woke up in the middle of the night, standing alone in an elevator. Luckily, that day his dad had told everyone to be sure to remember their room number, and he got himself safely back to his room. "I can only imagine what kind lf trouble I got into that night roaming around the hotel."

"One time, I was in the kitchen for a late-night snack, and I heard my brother coming up the stairs...He always squints really hard when he's sleepwalking, so I knew what was going on." What he didn't know was where it would lead: into the garage, where his brother was urinating on the hood of their dad's car.

"For whatever reason in my panicked state, I just grabbed a loaf of bread and ran home."
